These are raw slabs cut of Chromium Woodworthia which is a rare type of Triassic-age petrifiedwood. It features a striking emerald or deep green color. The green shade comes from chromium impurities trapped during fossilization. It also acts as a natural hydrometer, meaning the green color darkens when air humidity goes up.
