This is a face polished collector's grade set of Fryite Jasper. Fryite was first found in 1969 along the Snake River on the Washington & Idaho border. Commonly thought to be the rarest version of orbicular porcelain jasper defined by fading shades of tan, midnight blue, and grey. Fryite Jasper is considered the rarest jasper in North America and one of the rarest globally.
