These are face polished collectors grade cuts of Morrisonite Jasper sourced from the rugged Owyhee River region in SE Oregon named for the rancher who discovered the first stones many years back-James Morison. Morrisonite is confined to one small area & has been extremely mined out in the past years & is now heavily restricted -making this an extremely rare find. These pieces feature notes of blue, cream, pink, golden yellow, red-orange, & green.
