Seraphinite slab (Polished)

These are face polished slabs of Seraphinite, a rare green gemstone known for its silvery, feather-like patterns. It is a trade name for clinochlore, a mineral in the chlorite group. Miners mainly find it in Eastern Siberia, Russia. While the underlying mineral clinochlore can be found in some different parts of the world, gem-grade seraphinite with distinct "angel wing" patterns like these pieces is unique to the Siberian deposit.
