This is a face polished end cut Moroccan agate, Moroccan agate is a striking variety of microcrystalline quartz sourced primarily from the Atlas Mountain Range (especially near Kerrouchen and Sidi Rahal). Formed in ancient volcanic basalt, it is famous for vibrant red, orange, yellow, pink, and white banding, as well as intricate seam and plume pat.
